StaSooji Pudding


  • Cardamom and Saffron Leaves (for decoration and flavour)
  • Almond soaked and thin sliced (2)
  • Staeta Original (250 ml)
  • Sooji (Samoline) (3 Tbs)
  • Sugar (3 Tbs )



  • Roast sooji until pinkish
  • This is excellent source of protein and minerals and can be served for breakfast as hot cereal
  • Pour into serving dish (clay gives a good flavour) to cool. Garnish with rose petals or seasonal fruits, i.e. Mango slices or Strawberry
  • In a thick bottom pan, boil Staeta milk. Add roasted sooji slowly, while stirring to avoid lumps. Cook on low heat setting, stirring constantly. When sooji gets cooked and the milk gets thick, add sugar and rest of the ingredients
